PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus housing body which can prevent or reduce damage of insects.SOLUTION: An electric apparatus housing body 4 includes a wiring box 6 as a body X of the housing body in which an electric apparatus 2 can be housed. The wiring box 6 is formed in a bottomed box shape having a bottom wall 6a and side walls 6b which stand from the bottom wall 6a and having an opening 6c in a front face on an opposite side of the bottom wall 6a. In the electric apparatus housing body 4, an insect repelling body 8 having an insect repelling section 7 including an insect repelling component for prompting the insects to perform repelling action is arranged in the wiring box 6 to prevent the insects from entering the wiring box 6 and to repel the insects entering the wiring box 6 from inside the wiring box 6.
