PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating preparation in which color tone change is hard to occur in an unpacked state and which contains stable miglitol.SOLUTION: A coating preparation includes: a core part containing miglitol, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or a hydrate of them； and a coating layer containing an inorganic filler formed on a surface the core part, in which the inorganic filler is at least one selected from the group consisting of a dried aluminum hydroxide gel, magnesium silicate, synthetic aluminum silicate, synthetic hydrotalcite, magnesium oxide, talc, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate dihydrate, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate granule, calcium monohydrogen phosphate, calcium hydrogen phosphate hydrate, and calcium hydrogen phosphate granule.
