A video introducer for an endotracheal tube (2) or the like includes a bendable rod (10) with a bore (11). A camera unit (21) is mounted in a recess (13) at the forward end of the rod by means of a cap (30) having a transparent window (38) at one end and a cylindrical wall (330) extending between the outside of the camera unit and the inside of the rod. A cable (22) extends rearwardly from the camera unit (21) along the bore (11) and is connected to an axial plug (24). A rigid sleeve (40) is bonded at one end to a stepped region (16) at the rear end of the rod (10) and at its other end to the body of the plug (24). Excess length of cable (22) between the rear end of the rod (10) and the plug (24) is accommodated within the sleeve (40).Linvention concerne un dispositif introducteur vidéo destiné à un tube endotrachéal (2) ou analogue, qui comprend une tige flexible (10) avec un alésage (11). Un câble (22) sétend vers larrière depuis lunité de caméra (21), le long de lalésage (11), et il est connecté à un bouchon axial (24). Un manchon rigide (40) est lié au niveau dune extrémité à une région étagée (16), au niveau de lextrémité arrière de la tige (10) et au niveau de son autre extrémité, au corps du bouchon (24). La longueur du câble (22) en excès entre lextrémité arrière de la tige (10) et le bouchon (24) est logée dans le manchon (40).
