PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surgical gauze with an IC tag which is hardly separated from a gauze body even if the gauze body is folded or curled, capable of securely preventing failure in reading a memory caused by deformation of an IC chip, that is breaking of the IC chip, or separation from an antenna.SOLUTION: In surgical gauze with an IC tag 2 attached to a gauze body 1, nonwoven fabrics 6 and 7 with larger areas than that of the IC tag 2 are stuck to both sides of the IC tag 2. The nonwoven fabrics 6 and 7 with the IC tag 2 held in-between are integrally fused to one surface of the gauze body 1.
