PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, capable of maintaining favorable fluid absorption and holding performance to excretion, in which the worn position need not be deflected for urination, and the penis can be easily taken out, so that it is widely and favorably usable for patients of light incontinence, patients who need rehabilitation concerning urination, or patients who seriously need care.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises an enclosure sheet, and an absorbent member partly attached to be fixed inside it. In a range of the enclosure sheet where the absorbent member is disposed, an openable part in which the enclosure sheet can be ruptured to open is provided. Around the openable part, the enclosure sheet and the absorbent member are left unattached. As the openable part is ruptured and opened, the unattached part of the absorbent member can be opened for the penis to be taken out.
