A system for providing continuous high frequency oscillation therapy isdisclosed. Apulse generator comprises a valve stem which fluidly connects two ports whenpressure in one ofthe two ports exceeds a threshold force. Fluidic connection between the twoports allows forfluid to flow back through an orifice and a needle valve to the pulsegenerator, the orifice andneedle valve are components external to the pulse generator. Gases flowingthrough the needlevalve and to the pulse generator apply a force on a diaphragm which deformsand pushes a valvebutton when gases flowing through the needle valve exceed a threshold. Motionof the valvebutton due to deformation of the diaphragm causes the valve button to exertforce on the valvestem reducing fluid flow between the two ports. Reduction in fluid flowbetween the two portscauses drop in pressure of the gas flowing through the needle valve back intothe pulse generatorthereby reducing the force seeking to deform the first diaphragm move thevalve button. Thevalve button falls back thereby allowing increased fluidic communicationbetween the two portsagain. This cyclical supply of high pressure gas is used for therapeuticpurposes to provide highfrequency oscillation.
