The present invention relates to a biocompatible superabsorbent spacer and a surgical device. The biocompatible spacer is a spacer using a superabsorbent polymer manufactured by blending a biocompatible polymeric material to form a chain of polymer chains having a predetermined number of crosslinks. The spacer injects a predetermined amount of the superabsorbent polymer into a body and then inflates to fill a space in the body by a body fluid. According to the present invention, the spacer can maintain a predetermined shape in the body to provide an optimal condition for a surgery.본 발명은 생체 적합성 고흡수성 폴리머 간격물 및 시술 장치에 관한 것으로, 상기 생체적합성 간격물은, 소정의 가교의 수를 갖는 폴리머 체인의 연결이 형성되도록 생체적합성 고분자 물질을 배합하여 제조된 고흡수성 폴리머를 이용한 간격물로서, 체내에 소정의 양의 상기 고흡수성 폴리머를 주입한 후 체액에 의해 체내의 공간을 채우도록 팽창된 상태를 유지한다.
