The present invention relates to an overturn preventing wheelchair which is controlled by an operation of a user. The overturn preventing wheelchair comprises: a frame a pair of transferring units a slope controlling unit and a mounting unit. The pair of transferring units are installed in both sides of the frame are separated to each other and are rotated in a caterpillar type. The slope controlling unit includes: a triangular shaped base plate which is positioned between the pair of the transferring units, and is combined with an upper side of the frame a moving plate which is separated to an upper side of the base plate a pair of slope sensors which are positioned in the base plate and the moving plate, respectively and measure slope change of the base plate and the moving plate and six horizontal controlling units which change a length corresponding to a sensing value of the slope sensor, and horizontally control the moving plate, where one end is combined with one side of the base plate in a pair, and the other end is arranged in all directions and is combined with the moving plate. The mounting unit is positioned on an upper side of the moving plate and mounts a passenger. The overturn preventing wheelchair is safely moved on an uneven road such as a damaged sidewalk or the like by including the pair of the transferring units which are rotated in the caterpillar type. The overturn preventing wheelchair maintains horizontality by including the slope controlling unit to control slopes of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction of the mounting unit.
