PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent large burdens imposed on the cervical vertebra of a patient when raising and bringing down the table of an operating table.SOLUTION: A table base part is put through a column on the base of the operating table, the table is put on the table base, and at least a part between a back support part and a lower back support part in the table is freely bendable. An approaching/separating mechanism capable of changing a distance between the back support part 4b and the lower back support part 4c is provided. When the back support part is turned in an upper direction with respect to the lower back support part, the lower back support part and the back support part are relatively separated by the approaching/separating mechanism. When the back support part is turned in a lower direction with respect to the waist support part, the lower back support part and the back support part approach each other by the approaching/separating mechanism. Thus, pressurization of the cervical vertebra when the back support part is raised or brought back while keeping the head of a patient fixed is prevented.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】手術台のテーブルを起倒操作する際患者の頚椎に大きな負担が掛からないようにする。
