PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation facility and a cultivation method capable of preventing generation of algae and smoothly moving a cultivation panel.SOLUTION: A cultivation facility cultivates plants using a cultivation panel. The cultivation panel includes plural rows of insertion holes into which plants are inserted. The cultivation facility comprises plural gutters 2 and cultivation shelves. The cultivation panel is directly mounted on the gutters 2. The gutters 2 are arranged corresponding to the plural rows of insertion holes in parallel. The cultivation shelves support the gutters 2. Each gutter 2 has a gutter body 21 and a slide member 22. The gutter body 21 is formed into a groove shape whose top surface is opened.
