PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire highly accurate radiation image information by preventing a retake and improving the efficiency in photography.
SOLUTION: In the radiation image photographing system 10, it is determined whether the remaining quantity in a battery 44 for driving a radiation detector 40 is at least a prescribed threshold (step S3) when a photographing apparatus 22 outputs a radiography requesting signal to announce the start of irradiation of a subject 14 with radiation X (step S2: Yes). When the remaining quantity in the battery is less than the threshold (step S3: No), irradiation with radiation X by the photographing apparatus 22 is prohibited (step S4).
