PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prevention of liquid from infiltrating a drag washer, irrespective of attachment or detachment of a spool.SOLUTION: This spool 4 of a spinning reel is equipped with a support member 25, a spool body 7, a drag mechanism 8, a first sealing member 59 and a second sealing member 60. The support member can be attached with a spool shaft. The spool body has a first housing recessed part opening as a circular shape in its front direction and is attached with the supporting member as freely rotatable. The drag mechanism is provided with an inner circumferential surface, arranged opposing to the front part outer circumferential surface of the support member, including a pressing washer that makes contact with a drag-adjusting member, having a front friction part housed in the first housing recessed part and braking the spool body. The first sealing member seals the gap of the inner circumferential surface of the pressing washer and the outer circumferential surface of the supporting member.
