The invention relates to an autopolymerisable 2-component prosthesis base material, to a kit containing the material, and to a method for production thereof comprising at least one liquid monomer component (A), and at least one component (B) in powder form, wherein the prosthesis material in the component (A) contains, in addition to methyl methacrylate, at least one N-alkyl-substituted acryloyloxy carbamate having a molar mass of less than or equal to 250 g/mol, optionally at least one at least difunctional urethane(meth)acrylate, ein di-, tri-, tetra-, or multi-functional monomer which is not a urethane(meth)acrylate, and optionally polymeric particles having a primary particle size of less than 800 nm, and the component (B) in powder form comprises polymeric particles having at least three different particle size fractions and both (A) and (B) contain at least one initiator or at least one component of an initiator system for the autopolymerisation.
