The low activity bladder, detrusor muscle during urination (urinary bladder detrusor muscle) contractile force due to a decrease in, say a condition exhibiting dysuria, is a different condition from overactive bladder characterized by a sense of urgency urine. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition useful in the prevention or treatment of low-active bladder. The present invention relates to the prevention or a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of low activity bladder containing silodosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention, improvement in urine flow rate, and has a residual urine of improvement action (lowering effects of bladder capacity) improving action of hyperextension of the bladder, which is useful in the prevention or treatment of low-active bladder.低活動膀胱とは、排尿時の排尿筋(膀胱排尿筋)収縮力の低下により、排尿障害を呈する病態をいい、尿切迫感を特徴とする過活動膀胱とは異なる病態である。本発明は、低活動膀胱の予防または治療に有用な医薬組成物を提供する。本発明は、シロドシンまたはその薬理学的に許容される塩を有効成分として含有する低活動膀胱の予防または治療用医薬組成物に関する。本発明の医薬組成物は、尿流率の改善、膀胱の過伸展の改善作用(膀胱容量の低下作用)および残尿の改善作用を有し、低活動膀胱の予防または治療に有用である。
