This invention relates to a multistage high-specification containment systemwith filtrationcapabilities and built in cooling or heating for the purpose of transportingorganic material (suchas human remains). The device is comprised of a first stage inner and secondstage outer bagboth of which utilize an airtight zipper (or similar closure), are gas-liquidimpermeable andintegrate an active layer to absorb, remove or filter bacterial and viralelements as well aschemicals and gasses. Both stages may also incorporate a check valve to removeair to aid inthe preservation of its contents. The second stage bag is manufactured to bemore rugged androbust than the first stage providing a level of protection and to allowdeployment of a third optionalstage that incorporates inert gas to aid in heating or cooling.
