A pair of rails (2) are disposed in parallel to each other on both sides of the opening (11) interposing the opening (11) on the outer surface of the housing body (1). A cover (3) is slidably held outside the housing body (1) and the size of the gap between the cover (3) and the surface of the housing body (1), on which the opening (11) is formed, is maintained at such a level as to prevent the passage of the insects therethrough. A sample holder holding a sample is slidably held by the rails (2), and, when the sample holder is slidably held by the rails (2) while holding the sample, the sample is exposed to the inner space from the opening (11).
