PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic processing unit for accurately measuring skin moisture content without changing the skin condition.SOLUTION: An arithmetic processing unit 401 calculates a numerical value showing a skin moisture content based on: a first skin impedance value of the skin which is calculated from a first signal detected from the skin after a first AC signal generated by an AC signal generating circuit 410 is transmitted through the skin from an application electrode 201； a second skin impedance value of the skin which is calculated from a second signal detected from the skin after the second AC signal generated by the AC signal generating circuit 410 is transmitted through the skin from the application electrode 201； and a first variable number based on the time difference between the first AC signal and the first signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】皮膚の状態を変化させずに、皮膚水分量を精度よく測定できる演算処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】演算処理装置４０１は、交流信号発生回路４１０により発せられた第一の交流信号を印加電極２０１から肌に透過させ、肌から検出した第一の信号から算出した肌の第一の皮膚インピーダンス値と、交流信号発生回路４１０により発せられた第二の交流信号を印加電極２０１から肌に透過させ、肌から検出した第二の信号から算出した肌の第二の皮膚インピーダンス値と、第一の交流信号と第一の信号との時間差に基づく第一の変数と、に基づいて、皮膚水分量を示す数値を算出する。【選択図】図４
