PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which obtains excellent image quality by high-resolution and low dose imaging based on data collection by an X-ray detector with a plurality of X-ray detector widths and a two-dimensional X-ray area detector of a matrix structure typified by a multi-row X-ray detector with a plurality of data collection ranges or a flat panel X-ray detector.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus which obtains more excellent image quality due to high-resolution imaging by collecting data in the data collection range which is narrow in the direction of the channel by a fine channel of the central part by using the X-ray detector with a plurality of channel widths of a fine channel in the central part and rough channels in the peripheral part and a data collection device having the plurality of data collection ranges including the wide data collection ranges in the direction of the channel and the narrow data collection ranges in the direction of the channel for switching the data collection range for every data collection is achieved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】複数のX線検出器幅を有しているX線検出器、複数のデータ収集範囲を有している多列X線検出器、又はフラットパネルX線検出器に代表されるマトリクス構造の2次元X線エリア検出器によるデータ収集に基づく高分解能且つ低被曝撮影を行うことにより、良好な画質を得ることができるX線CT装置を提供する。【解決手段】中心部のチャネルが細かく、周辺部のチャネルが粗い複数のチャネル幅を有しているX線検出器と、チャネル方向に広いデータ収集範囲とチャネル方向に狭いデータ収集範囲とを含んでいる複数のデータ収集範囲を有しており、データ収集ごとにこのデータ収集範囲を切り換え可能なデータ収集装置を用いて、チャネル方向に狭いデータ収集範囲で中心部の細かいチャネルでデータ収集を行うことにより、高分解能撮影を行え、より良好な画質のX線CT装置を実現する。【選択図】図13
