PURPOSE: A human monoclonal antibody to Notch 3 is provided to enable direct application to a human body by screening in a human antibody library through a phage display, and to be used as an antibody for diagnosing and treating cancer.CONSTITUTION: A human monoclonal antibody to Notch 3 contains a light chain variable region of sequence number 1 and a heavy chain variable region of sequence number 2. A composition for diagnosing cancer contains the human monoclonal antibody. The cancer is selected from a group consisting of lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, uterine cervix cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer.
