Disclosed are a method for providing beauty counseling information and an apparatus thereof which run an installed artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm and/or a machine learning algorithm to generate and provide beauty counseling information such that a beauty counseling information providing apparatus, a user terminal, and a server can be communicated in a 5G communication environment. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing beauty counseling information comprises: a step of generating a first image set in which a plurality of images previously stored are classified based on photographing information every preset cycle； a step of generating a second image set in which the plurality of images included in the first image set are classified based on a purpose of providing counseling information； a step of calculating a physical feature by analyzing and comparing the plurality of images included in the second image set； and a step of providing beauty counseling information if variations between the calculated body feature and the previously stored existing physical feature are greater than a predetermined value.
