Described are a ouid, a microabrasive composition containing the oud, and a method of making the microabrasive composition containing the oud. In general, ouido represents small particles, which are selectable in size, size distribution and other properties, and can be used as microabrasive particles. Ouids generally exhibit a high level of symmetry, sphericity, circularity and low aspect ratio.
