Next, a sequence of paired light pulses of a predetermined duration of 200 ms, separated by an inter-pulse interval of 70 ms, repeated over a constant time interval of 1 s, is applied to the device that generates the augmented reality. At the first stage of measurements, the duration of the interimpulse interval between the light pulses in the pair is reduced for each subsequent presentation discretely with a predetermined constant step of 0.5 ms, until the subject determines the moment of two light pulses fusion into one. At the second stage of measurements, the duration of the interimpulse interval between the light pulses in the pair is increased for each subsequent presentation discretely with a predetermined constant step of 0.1 ms, until the subject determines the moment of sensation of separation of two light pulses in the pair. Duration of the interimpulse interval between two light pulses in a pair at the moment of sensation of two light pulses separation is recorded. Excitation time of the visual analyzer is assumed to be equal to the duration of the interimpulse interval between two light pulses in the pair at the moment of sensation of two light pulses separation determined at the second stage of measurements. Then the subject is periodically presented with a sequence of pair light pulses with a given period, with the duration of the intermittent interval between two light pulses in the pair with the last recorded duration of the interimpulse interval.
