The present invention relates to a storage container for a tissue specimen. According to the present invention, the storage container for a tissue specimen stores a tissue piece in which a living tissue is partially cut. After a container storing the tissue specimen is sealed by a first cover, a second cover, and a third cover, toxic chemical matters such as formalin using formaldehyde as a raw material is injected into the container. Therefore, a formalin solution in which the formalin and phosphate buffer saline (P.B.S.) are mixed is prevented from being directly exposed to the respiratory system of a medical team. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, according to the present invention, the storage container for a tissue specimen includes the first cover to the fourth cover and the container.본 발명에 따른 조직편 보관 용기는 생체조직이 일부 절제된 조직편이 용기의 내부에 보관되고, 조직편이 보관된 용기가 제 1 뚜껑, 제 2 뚜껑 및 제 3 뚜껑에 의해 밀폐된 후, 포름알데히드를 원료로 하는 포말린 등의 유해 화학물질이 용기의 내부에 투입되도록 함으로써, 포말린과 P.B.S.(phosphate buffer saline)이 섞인 포말린 용액이 의료진의 호흡기게에 직접적으로 노출되지 않도록 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 발명에 따른 조직편 보관 용기는 용기와 더불어 제 1 내지 제 4 뚜껑을 포함한다.
