PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured seed removal device for pickled plums and an easy seed removal method therefor.SOLUTION: A seed removal device 1 for pickled plums is installed on a transportation surface on which pickled plums are placed and transported. The device comprises one or a plurality of pairs of restraining walls 2, 2 that are nearly vertical to the transporting direction of pickled plums and that face the width direction of the transportation surface. In the paired restraining walls, the inter-end side interval on the upstream side in the transporting direction forms injection ports for injecting pickled plums and, on the downstream side, forms discharging ports for discharging the seeds of pickled plums.
