PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in a male member with a cover, a quantity of liquid adhering to the external surface of the cover and a female member after being separated from the female member.SOLUTION: A male member 1 includes a tubular member 10, and a cover 20 covering at least a tip 11 thereof. A lateral hole 14 communicated with a flow channel 13 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular member. The cover includes an outer peripheral wall 21 which is elastically compressively deformable, and a head 23 provided on one end thereof. The head is formed with an inner cavity 24 to insert the tubular member into, and a deepest part 24a of the inner cavity is formed with a slit 25.
