A method of treating a disease condition selected from the group comprising hypercortisolemia, headache and neuropathic pain, or any combination of these conditions, which comprises administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a composition comprising asiaticoside and madecassoside, optionally in combination with at least one excipient, in need of this subject. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the asiaticoside is in a concentration in the range of about 15% to 50%, and the madecassoside is in the concentration in the range of about 20% to 50%. The method of claim 1, wherein the composition is obtained from a Centella Asiatica plant. The method according to claim 1, wherein the state of hypercortisolemia is Cushing's syndrome.
