PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified cupredoxin-derived peptide having pharmacological activity with improved pharmacokinetic properties； and a method using the same for treating a mammal in various conditions related to pharmacological activity.SOLUTION: A modification of a cupredoxin-derived peptide comprises an amino acid sequence variant and structural derivative increasing the plasma half-life of the peptide, increasing the specific activity of the pharmacological activity, decreasing the immunogenicity, and decreasing biotransformation of the peptide. The modified cupredoxin-derived peptide can be used in a method to treat mammals for cancer, conditions related to inappropriate angiogenesis, viral and bacterial infection (particularly, HIV and malaria), and conditions related to ephrin signal transduction, and in a method to deliver cargo compounds (including a compound for diagnosis) to cancer cells.【課題】薬物動態の特性が改善された薬理的な活性を有している修飾キュプレドキシン由来ペプチドに、および薬理的な活性に関連する様々なコンディションの哺乳類を処置するためにそれらを使用する方法の提供。【解決手段】キュプレドキシン由来ペプチドの修飾体には、そのペプチドの血漿半減期を増加する,薬理的活性の比活性を増加する,免疫原性を減少する,及びそのペプチド類の生体内変換を減少するアミノ酸配列バリアント及び構造上の誘導体が含まれる。修飾キュプレドキシン由来ペプチドは、癌,不適切な血管形成に関連するコンディション,ウイルス性および細菌性の感染（特にHIVおよびマラリア）,エフリンシグナル伝達に関連するコンディションに関して哺乳類を治療する及びカーゴ化合物（診断上の化合物を含む）を癌細胞に送達する方法に使用することができる。【選択図】図１
