PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved apparatus for securing soft tissue to bone.SOLUTION: The apparatus for securing soft tissue to bone comprises a suture anchor 125 including a body 130, an elongated front end section 131 connected to the body and extending distally of the body terminating in a distal point 133, a bone-engaging geometry formed on the body and being proximal to the elongated front end section, a driver-engaging element formed on the proximal end of the body, and a suture-connecting feature attached the body for attaching a suture 50 to the body.
