PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing grip which can be easily gripped but is hard to slip even if a core has a complicated shape and which is inexpensive for the cost.SOLUTION: A core 11 formed into a predetermined outer shape and equipped with a trigger 13 is mounted in a blank 21 constituting a fishing rod. The core 11 is covered with a cylindrical net body 15 formed by a twill weave of predetermined fibers. The trigger 13 extends through mesh in the cylindrical net body 15. The trigger 13 extends through the mesh of the net body 15 formed by the twill weave, without breaking the fibers of the net body 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
