Embodiments presented herein are generally directed to a perioperative implant cover configured to cover at least a portion of an implantable component during portions of the perioperative period (i.e., preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgery) in which the implantable component is susceptible to bacteria contamination. By covering the implantable component during these portions of the perioperative period, the cover reduces the possibility of bacteria contamination and subsequent perioperative colonization.Les modes de réalisation présentés ici concernent, de façon générale, une protection d'implant périopératoire conçue pour recouvrir au moins une partie d'un composant implantable pendant des parties de la période périopératoire (c'est-à-dire lors des phases préopératoire, intra-opératoire et post-opératoire d'une intervention chirurgicale) pendant lesquelles le composant implantable peut être contaminé par des bactéries. En recouvrant le composant implantable pendant ces parties de la période périopératoire, la protection réduit les possibilités de contamination bactérienne et de colonisation bactérienne périopératoire ultérieure.
