An implant (10) for implantation around a circumferential tissue structure (1000) in a heart, may comprise a flexible elongated component (20) which has a longitudinal axis (25) and which has a first distal end portion (30), a second distal end portion (35) and an intermediate portion (40) extending between the first (30) and second (35) distal end portions, and an inner lumen (50) extending longitudinally between the first and second distal end portions (30, 35) and through the intermediate portion (45)； and a locking means (60) for allowing the first distal end portion (30) to be fixedly connected to the second distal end portion (35) so as to provide the elongated component (20) as a closed loop； wherein the first distal end portion (30) is provided with a first distal opening (80) which connects the inner lumen (50) with an outside of the component (20)； wherein the second distal end portion (35) is provided with a second distal opening (90) which connects the inner lumen (50) with the outside of the component (20)； and wherein the intermediate portion (40) is provided with a proximal opening (100) which connects the inner lumen (50) with the outside of the component (20), wherein the proximal opening (100) is longitudinally spaced from both the first (30) and second (35) distal openings.
