Method for using improved sterilization wraps to sterilize articles. The wraps are made of a first and a second panel (96, 98) of sterilization material and an additional panel (76). The additional panel (76) may be bonded to the first panel (96) at approximately at a forty-five degree angle to the first panel. The article to be sterilized is placed on the sterilization wrap, is wrapped, and sterilant is applied to the wrapped article.
