The present invention relates to a planting system for supporting plants and/or seedings, particularly, a planting system for supporting plant material in a substantially vertical plane. Specifically, the invention relates to a quick and easy to assemble planting system that requires no welding in fabricating the supporting frame. The planting system of the present invention is useful as a cladding for internal and/or external building surfaces, creating self-supporting partition walls and/or items of furniture.
