A vessel closure device comprising: a support frame capable of expanding within the vessel and a closure membrane at least partially supported by an expandable support frame; the device is configured to intraluminally position, after the support frame has been expanded, the closure membrane at the puncture site, made in the wall of the vessel. 2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting frame comprises a peripheral supporting frame, at least a portion of which is located at least at a portion of the outer edge of the closing membrane formed around its periphery. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a supporting component superimposed on at least a portion of the closure membrane. The device according to claim 3, characterized in that the supporting component is attached to opposite sides of the supporting frame. The device according to claim 3, characterized in that the supporting component is made more rigid than the supporting frame. The device according to claim 3, characterized in that the supporting component is provided with a guide channel made at least in part of the length of the supporting component with the possibility of passing through it at least one wire conductor to facilitate delivery of the device into the vessel.
