A disc spring for a valve of an infusion pump comprises a rim, a spring element, and a circumferential seat in the center of the disc spring. The spring element is arranged around the circumferential seat, and the rim, the spring member, and the circumferential seat are arranged in a single plane. The disc spring may be used in a valve for an infusion pump to bias a spherical valve member towards a valve seat.
