A porous tantalum metal screw for fixing a broken bone, comprising a screw body (1). The front end of the screw body (1) is provided with a front end thread section (11), the rear end of the screw body (1) is provided with a rear end thread section (12), and there is a smooth round bar (13) between the front end thread section (11) and the rear end thread section (12). The pitch of threads of the rear end thread section (12) is less than that of the front end thread section (11), and the depth of threads of the rear end thread section (12) is greater than that of the front end thread section (11). The external surfaces of two sides of the end of the rear end thread section (12) are symmetrically provided with grooves (2), with respect to the center line of the screw body (1), the angle between the two inclined planes of the groove (2) being 30 degrees. The structure of the screw is favorable for threading in and securely fixing the screw, preventing the broken bone from being displaced again, and may further prevent the tail of the screw from being deformed when the screw is threaded in, so that the force uniformly reaches the front end, reducing the possibility of the deformation or breakage of the screw.
