The implant has an internal geometry and an external geometry, where the external geometry includes a cervical section (2), a cylindrical section (3), and a conical section (4). A Morse taper type fixing unit is arranged to fix a prosthetic pillar, where the cervical section is of ovoid form in a longitudinal direction. The cervical section is surmounted by a beveled portion having a length between 0.1 and 0.5 mm, where the diameter of the cervical section reduces in a direction towards the head of the dental implant. A ceramic ring is provided above the cervical section.
