The method comprises providing the multi focused acoustic wave source, providing a plurality of target acoustic pressures to be applied on a plurality of regions of interest (ROIs) in at least one cellular tissue, computing a transmission pattern of multi-focal acoustic energy according to the plurality of target acoustic pressures, and operating the multi focused acoustic wave source according to the transmission pattern.
