PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mature tree protective equipment that can keep the condition of being wound around a mature tree over a long time and are easy to mount, even if mounted on a mature tree, not hindering the growth of the mature tree.SOLUTION: A mature tree protective equipment P which is mounted on a mature tree to protect the mature tree from vermin damage of wild animals, such as deer and bears is formed of a net-like knit fabric in which a warp 1 and a woof 2 are arranged in grid-like fashion, a multifilament yarn is comprised in one part of the warp and the woof, the multifilament yarn being obtained by bundling at least two or more sheath-core type complex continuous fibers in which a core component is formed of a polymer with a high-melting point and a sheath component is formed of a polymer with a low-melting point, and the sheath-core type complex continuous fibers which constitute multifilament yarn are fused to each other at the crossing of the warp and woof by fusion solidification of the sheath component to be unified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】成木に巻き付けた状態を長期間にわたって維持することができるとともに取付作業が容易であり、かつ成木に取付けてもその成長を阻害しない成木保護具を提供する。【解決手段】成木に取付けられて鹿や熊等の野生動物の食害から成木を保護する成木保護具Pが、経糸1及び緯糸2が格子状に配列されたネット状編織物で形成され、経糸及び緯糸の一部に、芯成分が高融点重合体で形成され鞘成分が低融点重合体で形成された芯鞘型複合長繊維が少なくとも複数本集束されてなるマルチフィラメント糸が含まれて、鞘成分が溶融固化されることによって、マルチフィラメント糸を構成する芯鞘型複合長繊維の相互間が経糸及び緯糸の交差点において融着され一体化されているようにする。【選択図】図1
