PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair grower containing 5-aminolevulinic acids and an iron compound, and having excellent long-term stability.
SOLUTION: The hair tonic composition contains (A) one or more compounds selected from 5-aminolevulinic acid or a salt thereof, or derivatives thereof, (B) an iron compound and (C) an acid, and has pH&le4. An organic acid is preferable as the acid. Preferably, the composition further contains (D) an extract of a root or a rhizome of Gentiana lutea.
