PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium for cultivating plants, capable of efficiently cultivating the plants regardless of the type of plants; and to provide a plant-cultivating device and plant-cultivating method using the culture medium.SOLUTION: A culture medium 12 for cultivating plants uses a thermoplastic resin including at least either an ethylene unit or a propylene unit, wherein an extract obtained by treating 10 g of the thermoplastic resin in 50 mL of ion-exchanged water at 95°C for 4 hours has a pH of 4-9 at 25°C. A plant-cultivating device 1 and plant-cultivating method using the culture medium are also provided.
