<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nutritional technique for efficiently increasing the concentration of conjugated linoleic acid which is a functional substance, contained in the milk or meat of a rumination cattle. <;P>;SOLUTION: The content of the conjugated linoleic acid in the milk or meat is increased by increasing the expression of stearoyl-CoA desaturase and its enzyme activity in the milk grands and fat tissue of the rumination cattle by feeding nutrients such as leucine, arginine, biotin, vitamin C, etc., to efficiently convert trans-vaccenic acid to the conjugated linoleic acid in the milk grand tissue or fat tissue. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
