This disclosure provides a device and a method to eradicate pests, specifically bed bugs by applying heat. The device includes a bag having an inner surface made of thermoreflective material. Preferably the walls and the bottom of the bag are double layered and at least one heater is inserted in between the double layers. The infested clothing is inserted into the bag and after closing the bag the heater is turned on for a short period of time to increase the temperature to 150-220 F. Once the temperature has been reached the heater is turned off and a minimum temperature of 150F is maintained in the bag.Linvention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour éradiquer les animaux nuisibles, notamment les punaises des lits par application de chaleur. Le dispositif comprend un sac possédant une surface interne faite dun matériau thermo-réfléchissant. De préférence, les parois et le fond du sac sont à doubles couches, et au moins une unité de chauffage est insérée entre les doubles couches. Le linge infesté est inséré dans le sac et, après fermeture du sac, lunité de chauffage est mise en marche pendant une courte durée afin daugmenter la température à 150-220 F. Une fois la température atteinte, lunité de chauffage est arrêtée, et une température minimale de 150 F est maintenue dans le sac.
