PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick type emulsion composition having UV protection effect, exhibiting good stability without causing deterioration such as separation and reduction in strength over long-term storage, and giving excellent sense of use.SOLUTION: A stick type emulsion cosmetic includes following ingredients (a)-(e). A content of the ingredient (a) is 1-6 mass% for the cosmetic total amount a content of the ingredient (e) is 15-40 mass% for the cosmetic total amount and a mass ratio (a):(b) of the ingredient (a) to the ingredient (b) is from 1:1 to 1:3.
