Provided is a method of enhancing toxicity of a glycolytic dependent compound towards a cell, tissue and/or organ e.g. a diseased cell, tissue and/or organ, the method comprises contacting Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose (ORC) and/or Oxidized Cellulose (OC)； and a glycolytic dependent compound with the cell, tissue and/or organ.
