Disclosed herein are antifungal compounds of general Formula 1, wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification, which contain fluconazole pharmacophore moieties coupled with other moieties including aryl enones and chalcones. Also disclosed are methods for preparing compounds of Formula 1 and pharmaceutical preparations containing compounds of Formula 1 for prevention and treatment of fungal infections.
