PURPOSE: A composition using material preventing or treating DNA damage caused by melamine is provided to detoxify harmful melamine. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating DNA damage caused by melamine(1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triamine) toxicity contains extract of red ginseng, acanthopanax, green tea polyphenol, or cathodic electrolyzed water. The electric potential of the cathodic electrolyzed water is -1000 to -100mV. The extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C4, or mixture thereof. The electrolyzed water is solution in which pH or oxidation-reduction potential is regulated.
