PURPOSE: An aromatic composition containing cypress essential oil is provided to treat memory loss and cognitive disorder. CONSTITUTION: An aromatic composition which enhances memory and prevents and treats Alzheimer's disease contains 0.01-100 wt% of cypress essential oil as an active ingredient. The aromatic composition further contains a carrier, excipient, diluents, filler, binder, wetting agent, lubricant, disintegrant, or surfactant. A cosmetic product contains the aromatic composition. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of a shampoo, rinse, perfume, lotion, cream, skin, cleanser, mousse, hair wax, or hair gel.
