619746 Disclosed is a caboxamide substituted heterocycle of formula (I) where the heterocycle is pyrrol, pyrazole, thiazole, oxazole, isoxazol, isothiazole, thiophene, pyrazine or pyrimidine； R2 is an optionally substituted branched alkyl or cycloalkyl and the rest of the substituents are as disclosed in the specification. An examples of a compound of formula (I) is: 4,5-Dichloro-isothiazole-3-carboxylic acid (2-methylcyclohexyl)-amide. The compounds are useful as food additives, flavour or taste modifiers, such as a flavouring or flavouring agents and flavour or taste enhancers, more particularly savoury (”umami”) or sweet taste modifiers, - savoury or sweet flavouring agents and savoury or sweet flavour enhancers, for foods, beverages, and other comestible or orally administered medicinal products or compositions.
