PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection and a treatment of pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, and other cancers.SOLUTION: The application provides methods of diagnosis, prognosis, prophylaxis and treatment of ovarian, pancreatic and other cancers using antibodies that specifically bind to denatured CD70. In one aspect, an antibody is provided that specifically binds to denatured CD70 relative to binding to native CD70. In some embodiments, the antibody specifically binds to denatured CD70 on a fixed ovarian SK-OV-3 or pancreatic PANC-1 cancer cell line relative to binding to native CD70.
